Rice County Community Foundation-Community Fund

Goal: $15,000.00

Specific Need

The Rice County Community Foundation awards annual grants to nonprofits county-wide through our Community Fund Grant Program. This year all donations received during our MATCH EVENT will support these grants, ultimately going back to the community year after year. Your donation will foster fund growth through our endowed fund which helps ensure sustainability of this program.

Mission

The Rice County Community Foundation engages people, connects resources, and inspires bold solutions for UNITY in Rice County.

Profile

The RCCF was organized when a small group of citizens came together because they recognized a need for an event center and facilities for 4-H events in the county. RCCF was incorporated in 1995 and established the program, Building for Generations, which helped bring a community center, multi-purpose agriculture arena, and beautiful nature trails to Rice County.

In 2015, the event center transitioned to be managed by a separate director and separate Board of Directors. This allowed for the RCCF to pivot and focus on more philanthropic ventures in order to be a catalyst for improving lives in Rice County.
