Unite For Rice County is the Rice County Community Foundation's third-annual match opportunity! We graciously thank the Patterson Family Foundation for the $100,000 of match money in order to support our fund holders and Rice County non-profits. This match contribution makes donor dollars stretch further for the good of our community!
What is a Match Week?
During our upcoming match week event, every dollar you donate is magically worth MORE, propelling our non-profit's and fund holder's mission to new heights and ensuring your generosity packs twice the punch in changing lives for the better.
The Details
Each participating fund is entitled to 100% of the donations designated towards their fund, plus up to 50% match. A proportionate match may be required if our donation goals are exceeded.
For example, if a fund receives 5% of total community donations on Match Week, then that fund would receive 5% of the total match amount, which is $5,000. If it received 10% of the total community donations on Match Week, then it may be limited to the $10,000 limit for each fund.
In-Person Opportunities
Join us on GIVING TUESDAY, December 2 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for an after-hours event at the Rice County Community Foundation! Watch our social media for more information on this event!!
Donations can also be mailed to P.O. Box 444 Lyons, Ks 67554, and must be postmarked on or before December 5, 2025. Please fill out the Match Week Form to direct your donation to the participating fund(s).
Online Giving Details
Online donations are accepted from November 24 - December 5, at 11:59 pm.
Other Donation Information
- Donations by participating organizations to their own fund will not qualify for the match
- Donations will be tax deductible and can be made to multiple funds
- How the funds are utilized is determined by each fund with RCCF highly suggesting utilizing all funds raised to establish an endowment for your organization or fund. Setting up an endowment fund can ensure the long-term sustainability of your organization's mission, providing a reliable source of funding for generations to come. By creating an endowment, you empower your organization to weather financial uncertainties and continue making a lasting impact on the causes you hold dear.
- All fund holders participating in Match Week agree to keep an open fund with RCCF with a minimum balance of $1,000 for one year.
- Due to grant changes, Donor Advised Funds are not eligible to participate in 2025.
