Goal: $25,000.00
Specific Need
There is an immediate need to regain exposure to Highway 96 traffic which once routed through downtown Sterling. Sterling needs an iconic landmark at its north entrance. A landmark that attracts the traveler's eye, exemplifies the community's appreciation for the arts and history, and attests to "The Quality of Life" for which Sterling is renowned.
Mission
The Sterling Fund for the Arts was created December 20, 2016, to provide for a unique piece of art to identify with Sterling's history, to bolster Sterling's image in the eyes of the community and to attract the attention of travelers along the Highway 96 Corridor.
Profile
The Sterling Sculpture Committee is composed of representatives from the Main Street Sterling Design Committee (working under the Chamber of Commerce Umbrella), the Sterling Chamber of Commerce and the community.
